In collaboration with several industry partners - production builders, component manufacturers, and framers - MiTek is bringing experts together to find better ways to build. We hypothesize that by deploying advanced off‑site technologies, framing methodologies, and gathering objective data in the field, we can identify and deploy the processes and innovations required to drive meaningful change in the industry. Designing in 3D
While there is wide use of 2D design in homebuilding, there are many disadvantages, causing risks and challenges for builders down the line. We believe misconceptions about 3D cause the underutilization of 3D modeling technology in residential design and construction. But it doesn't have to be this way.
